Investment Real Estate LLC (IRE), an affiliate of The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), which specializes in self-storage brokerage, construction and management, announced a promotion and a new hire. Amber Miller was promoted from administrative assistant to construction and facilities coordinator for Investment Real Estate Construction (IREC). Glen Williams was hired as project manager for IREC, according to a press release.
Miller joined the company last year. In her new role, she’ll support the team by maintaining a strong knowledge of features within the online construction software, updating budgets and managing invoices. “Amber’s tenacity and positive attitude will serve her well in her new role,” said Glen Iley, director of development and construction for IREC. “She is relentless about improvement while embracing change and growth, both of which are essential qualities for working in the construction field. We are thrilled to have her energy and talents on the construction team.”
Williams will ensure construction procedures are completed in a timely, efficient manner. His responsibilities will include collaborating with engineers and architects to determine the specifications of various projects, planning all construction operations, and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met. He’ll also work with the team to evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports and timelines on each project.
Before joining IRE, Williams worked as a journeyman ironworker, a project manager and detailer for Capitol Door & Hardware Co., and a project manager of steel fabrication and erection at Kinsley Steel Inc.
