A talented and smart young man recently left surprised netizens after a model-storey building he designed and built surfaced on social media.

A gentleman named Nana Akwasi shared in the video on Facebook that he came to the boy’s area in Kumasi to work when together with his team, he came across the mini-building in construction.

At once, they were mesmerised by it and wondered who was responsible for it, only to be directed to an 11-year-old boy.

The young boy, identified as Joshua Yakubu, revealed that he had never received any training or apprenticeship in building construction, but it came to him naturally.

Kenya’s unique innovations at COP27

This came as three Kenyans were awarded KSh 36 million for their unique innovations to offer climate change solutions during the COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Robin Ndungu, Esther Kimani, and Maryanna Gichanga were among the 20 winners of the Youth Adapt Awards organised by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
