Gregory Tuck Architecture is looking for a skilled, talented and motivated Senior Project Architect to join our team. This Senior Project Architect will work closely with the Principal, Project Architects, Junior team members, Consultants and Clients to drive the design and development of various projects forward to completion. We are a design heavy practice, focused on Traditional and New Classical work and are seeking someone who can both bring their unique insights to the design role and be hands-on in mentoring and directing our more Junior Members.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with the Principal to form design-direction for projects
- Create Master Plan and detailed Concept Plans for new Projects
- Direct and organize workflow and tasks to be preformed by Project Architects and junior team members
- Review Client’s stated goals and communicate directly with them throughout the life-cycle of the project
- Collaborate with outside Consultants, such as Interior Designers, Structural and MEP Engineers, etc.
- Support the Principal in Client and Consultant meetings, and to represent the firm in their absence
- Support and mentor Project Architects and Junior Members so that they are able to meet Firm expectations and meet their potential.
- Review contracts for design deliverables required of the project team
- Recognize and limit risk exposure to the firm through evaluation of the project contract, site conditions and parameters
- Review all work product for technical and design accuracy and appropriateness prior to issuance
- Assist Principal and Project Architect in creating and maintaining project schedules and scope of work
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required
- Registered Architect, required qualification
- +10 years of post-graduate, full-time experience
- Experience in Single Family and Multi-Family Luxury Residential design
- Experience with coordinating and collaborating with a variety of Consultants and in managing their deliverables for the success of the project
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Passion for mentoring and managing junior team members

A strong portfolio of work demonstrating and documenting your work is required.
