HOW TO SUBMIT NEWS
The deadline for editorial submissions – news, news tips, briefs, calendar items, letters to the editor, photos, etc. – is noon on the Friday before the next issue is published. Email submissions to email@example.com.
For written submissions, include the text, in sentence form, and pasted into the email (avoid Word and PDF attachments, or links). For photos, attach a high resolution image file to the email, include text in the email explaining who is in the photo, and what the photo is about.
For letters to the editor, include a name and phone number for verification. Letters should not exceed 350 words. We reserve the right to exclude any letter to the editor, or to edit its contents for length and prevention of libel, or for other reasons as seen fit by the editor. The views expressed in letters to the editor and editorials are not necessarily the views of this newspaper group, nor those of the staff.
We do not guarantee any submission will be published in the print or digital platforms of the San Diego Community Newspaper Group.
