Project Job Captain
small architectural firm with rapid growth potential looking for motivated individual(s)
5-7 yrs experience min. Skills required: client/consultant communication; construction documentation and detailing; AutoCADD; Revit; salary commensurate with experience. 3D modeling skills a plus.
The architectural job captain leads the work of project production, reporting progress and issues to the project lead. They ensure that the team stays on schedule and executes schematics that conform to the requirements of the project designer. The job captain reviews the drawings of the consultant team, ensuring the final document set is fully coordinated. During the construction phase of the project the job captain assists with review of shop drawings and answering contractor questions
A bachelor’s degree in architecture is required for this position.
Architectural Job Captain Tasks
Work directly with Project Architect. Assist in coordination of consultant drawings.
Work directly with Project Architect to manage project documentation schedule and deadlines
Ensure building documentation is consistent with project design goals.
Must be proficient in Autocad, Revit
Project Architect
Develops solutions and creates project designs and plans to client. Initiates and creates project design and plans of all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings. Coordinates all trades and agencies related to building design while monitoring drawings
