Interior Designer – New York, NY, US | Jobs


Bonetti Kozerski Architecture, a high-end multi-disciplinary design firm, is seeking an energetic and professional Interior Designer to join our team. Experience in high-end residential and/or hospitality design is essential. The candidate must be self-motivated, be able to take the lead, and move projects forward. They must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask. They will assist Principals and other team members in all phases of interior design, from conception to execution.

Tasks and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage multiple projects and communicate well across project teams and consultants throughout the design and execution process
  • Sourcing and specifying furniture, fabrics, and interior finishes and creating room layouts and custom furniture drawings
  • Produce client presentations
  • Generate FF&E schedules and budgets
  • Enter all purchase proposals and orders using Spexx Software and provide reports and updates
  • Experience with FFE procurement consultants for placing/supervising orders and installation
  • Interface with clients and other members of the design team and will work in the office and on project job sites

 Requirements and Qualifications for candidates:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate interior design related office experience
  • Hardworking, highly organized, collaborative
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must as is an understanding of the firm modern aesthetic
  • Good conceptual and design process skills and be able to develop strategies to solve problems
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of SketchUp and Rhino are a plus
  • Looking for growth through a long-term employment relationship
  • Must be currently located in New York.

 

This is a full-time position with a salary based on experience.
