Envista Forensics, a global forensic engineering and consulting firm, has acquired Stephenson Consulting Group LLC, a property and building assessment consultancy based in Arlington, Texas.
Founded in 2005, Stephenson Consulting Group works with commercial insurers, property owners, and legal professionals to assess property losses and determine the scope of work required to bring structures back to pre-loss condition.
The Stephenson team works with clients throughout Texas and the surrounding states. The company’s team of 12 professionals is led by founder Larry Stephenson and managing partner Michael Vandeveer, who together have a combined 55+ years of experience in the insurance and contracting industry.
Envista’s acquisition of Stephenson will bolster its existing building consulting division. Larry Stephenson and Michael Vandeveer will join the major loss practice as senior principal consultants.
Envista’s major loss team is composed of hundreds of experts and engineers who help clients across industries determine causation and costing following a disaster.
