Through a starred question in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly current winter session It is noteworthy that the government’s positive reply was received by Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan on the subject related to Bokaro Medical College . The work of building a medical college and a 500-bed hospital is in progress in Bokaro. The State Government has sought DPR for this from the Building Construction Corporation. Chairman of the Hospital Construction Coordination Committee cum Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan shared this information. He requested that the DPR should be made available soon so that the residents of Bokaro get its benefit. Notably Legislator Narayan had asked a question on this in the Jharkhand Assembly current winter session where in written reply, the state government has given positive updates.
It is notable that Biranchi Narayan has been trying for a long time to build a medical college and 500 bed hospital in Bokaro. Already Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has made available 25 acres of land. The building will be constructed by BCCL where Biranchi Narayan has called it a gift rather boost for Bokaro in terms of medical infrastructure . It is worth mentioning that on 08.02.2022, the Health Department of Jharkhand Government had formed a committee to coordinate this project by establishing relations between BCCL and the State Government. Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan has been made its president. This dream seems to be coming true from the reply received in the Jharkhand assembly .
