Alliance Construction Solutions has made significant strides in constructing The Rose on Colfax and celebrated a successful topping out with its subcontractor partners Mercy Housing and architect Van Meter William Pollack in attendance.
The Rose on Colfax, located at 1500/1510 N. Valentia Street in Denver is five stories consisting of 82 one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom units. This affordable housing project will include 2,500 square feet of common areas, a 5,000-square-foot Childhood Education Center, a courtyard, and parking.
Nate Krier, superintendent for Alliance stated, “Our project team has worked diligently to reach this goal. This team is proud to bring the residents of Denver an affordable place to live, that will also provide their children with a safe place to learn and grow. Being a part of the Rose on Colfax team is a great privilege.”
Funding for the early childhood education center is possible, in part, through Mile High United Way donors and the investment of philanthropist and author MacKenzie Scott, who announced a $20 million investment in Mile High United Way last year. Earlier this year, Mile High United Way announced an $8 million investment in five long-term community partnerships and projects, Mercy Housing being one. This new development is an example of how partners can collaborate to provide services that families in Denver need.
The Rose on Colfax is expected to be complete Spring 2023.
