Major League Baseball team the Texas Rangers will bring a 300-unit residential building to Arlington, Texas, where the team is based. The Rangers are partnering with Baltimore-based Cordish Companies and the city of Arlington on the development.

One Rangers Way is part of $1 billion in new development underway in Arlington’s burgeoning Entertainment District. The district includes the Rangers’ Globe Life Field, former team home Choctaw Stadium (now Six Flags’ headquarters and a rugby and soccer venue with naming rights held by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts) and AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

The district is also home to Texas Live, a sprawling entertainment complex that opened in 2018 and was also developed by the Rangers and Cordish. The Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center and the National Medal of Honor Museum are also under construction. The district is a partnership among the city, the Texas Rangers, Cordish and Loews, and has a total estimated cost of $4 billion. The partnership has invested $2.4 billion in new district projects so far.

The apartment community on Nolan Ryan Expressway will be adjacent to Choctaw Stadium and the coming National Medal of Honor Museum. It was designed by Hord Coplan Macht, also headquartered in Baltimore, and will feature a curated art collection inspired by the Texas Rangers.

Designed for National Green Building Standard certification, it will have 43,000 square feet of interior and exterior amenity space with one- and two-bedrooms as well as a penthouse apartment and a parking garage with 423 spaces. It will have access to Richard Greene and Dr. Robert Cluck linear parks and have luxury elements such as an exterior amenity deck, an infinity pool, indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces, exclusive events for residents and concierge services.

Construction on One Rangers Way will start this fall. The complex is slated to open in 2024.
