SMU has purchased an office building near Central Expressway and Dyer Street.

The property at 6300 N. Central Expressway was most recently owned by Manhattan Construction, the Dallas Morning News reported.

According to DCAD, the two-story office building spans 17,450 square feet and was built in 1959. It also has a parking garage, which encompasses 6,500 square feet.

This isn’t the only property SMU owns east of the highway. The East Campus tower is at the southeast corner of Central and SMU Boulevard.
