Notes on Filtration.
Rock Island, Ill., has awarded a contract to the Pittsburgh Filter Mfg. Co., Pittsburgh, Pa., for the installation of a filter plant, on which work will be commenced in the spring. It will consist of six filter units and will he housed in a substantial building, of attractive design, located in Reservoir Park.
The city council of Clinton, Okla., lias advertised for scaled bids on the construction of a complete water filtering system for the city in accordance with plans and specifications drawn by tiie city engineer. The capacity of the proposed system will tie 100,000 gallons daily,
