The Net Zero (NZ21) Conference is back, and this year, Steve Ashkin, the father of green cleaning and sustainability advocate in the professional cleaning industry, will be one of the conference’s prominent presenters.

The NZ21 conference will take place September 13-15, 2021, at Expo Hall, in Los Angeles, California. Presented by Verdical Group, a green building consulting and certification firm, this is the organization’s 8th annual conference and expo. Over the years, it has become the largest conference in the world dedicated to net zero, decarbonization, and climate resilience.

Along with Ashkin, there will be more than 100 speakers and panelists, including some of the most well-known and prominent in the green, sustainability and net-zero industries.

“Further, the conference is expanding their focus areas this year so that they can provide learning opportunities across several industry sectors,” says Ashkin. “In addition to highlighting sustainability trends in buildings, energy, water, waste and transit, NZ21 will feature content on agriculture, fashion, materials, personal care and technology.”

While the conference will be in-person and open to attendees, it will also include a virtual component. The online program will include educational sessions, keynotes, tours, and a virtual Expo Hall.

There will also be a “Party with a Purpose” gala on September 16. The Trailblazer Awards will be given out at the gala, honoring those helping to build a net-zero future through their work in the climate, carbon, energy, water, waste, transit, and policy sectors.

“Something special they are also offering this year is a 15 percent discount on admission,” adds Ashkin. “When registering for the event, just use this code for the discount: NZCCFR15.”
