Interior Logic Group (“ILG”) is the nation’s leading, data and technology-enabled provider of interior
design and supply chain management solutions to the single-family housing industry. The company
delivers to homebuilders and prospective homeowners critical information and support during the
journey of moving into a new home, and utilizes technology, data, design expertise and supplier
relationships to help enable buyers to complete their home purchases.

Corporate headquarters is in Irvine, CA, and the Arizona division headquarters is in Phoenix. ILG has
approximately $2.2 billion in revenues, and 5000 employees. Arizona has a winning history of being a
financial engine for the company, with about 500 employees, earning about $400 million in revenues
and significant market share in the state, especially in Phoenix and Tucson.

In February 2021, just prior to ILG going public, Blackstone acquired the company with the goal to
accelerate ILG’s planned growth initiatives and provide support and expertise to the value-added
technology solutions for customers. ILG has continued to invest in organic growth, complemented by
strategic acquisitions, as in May 2021, with Residential Design Services, an innovation leader in interior
finish installations and design service technology serving homebuilders. This has further differentiated
ILG in its’ B2B and B2C relationships and customer service and experience with corporate and in the
design studios in Arizona and nationally.

THE TEAM
Jason Peel is the President and Chief Operations Officer of Interior Logic Group, He brings extensive
experiences in the building industry and a strong financial foundation as CPA/Consulting with KPMG in
the US and France. Alan Davenport is the Chairman and CEO of ILG, and also brings extensive industry
background and expertise to drive the company’s growth. Together, they offer the leadership and bring
the sizzle and EBIDTA which has made ILG a great place to work. With the whole Management team (see

The Role

The Divisional President of Arizona, reporting to the President & Chief Operating Officer, will provide full
P&L leadership and drive operational rigor to the Arizona division. The successful candidate will have
total operational responsibility for the division’s long and short-term performance and drive margin
growth focused on operational excellence, while supporting the Executive Team in all commercial,
financial, and strategic matters of the Arizona territory. S/He will bring deep operational, managerial, and
organizational rigor to the division while focusing on safeguarding key operational controls to the
business. The Divisional President will effectively communicate and foster growth among the
management team and all employees. This is a vital leadership role that will drive results, spur growth,
and increase the overall efficiency of the business operations.

The Divisional President will lead key initiatives focused on tailoring the Arizona field team to improve
customer service, increase operational efficiency while strategically improving market entry/strategy,
order fulfillment, pricing optimization, and providing leadership in driving all company-driven
integrations. S/He will deliver results by implementing and leveraging agreed-upon changes in systems,
processes, and technologies to improve various facets of the business. S/He will have an innate
understanding of the drivers of profitability of a technology-enabled services business on the housing
industry and a track record for implementing best supply chain and team management operational
practices across a division equal or larger to $400 million in revenue; a large customer base; workforce of
500 employees and a contingent labor force.

Lastly, the role requires advanced experience in change leadership to successfully integrate an
infrastructure modernization plan of such complexity, scale, and scope. This plan includes product
growth and new customer engagements via virtual platforms and data analytics. S/he will work
extensively around technology and new innovation to ensure the divisional operations can contribute to
the growth of the company’s technology infrastructure/virtual platform and product roadmap, while
focusing strategically on new areas of growth and services leveraging a data intensive, relationship-based
strength the company has to offer.

Key priorities will include:
● Take ownership for the operating performance of the Division, meaning most fundamentally
having accountability for operational budget achievement while integrating and monitoring the
performance metrics and key indicators required to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable
operations of the division
● Leads the tailoring and implementation of the operations strategy across the division while
focusing on improving in these main areas: field installation service levels and better supply
chain in critical areas (order fulfillment, pricing optimization and broader inventory
management)

● Delivers best-in-class performance while working with other areas of the business to ensure and
support technology implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement, and sharing
of best practices. It is imperative this person successfully supports the company’s power to
deliver an integrated solution providing customers a virtual environment to design, select and
install outstanding products
● Acquires market intelligence and addressing all available market opportunities in a timely and
accurate manner ensuring an optimal geographic footprint
● Maintain and build new relationships critical for the success of the business. S/He should be
capable of strategically positioning new lines of services and technology enabled opportunities
to improve the level of services with existing and new clients
● Drive excellence and optimization by minimizing the friction of integrating re-engineered
operations for profitability driven through continued implementation of Lean practices in other
aspects of the supply chain
● Build on current platforms to drive best-in-class distribution and installation capabilities
● Integrate and operate using company-driven performance metric goals/objectives and
coordinate to establish operations and quality control standards
● Coordinates with Customer Service Manager to resolve divisional operational customer
complaints
● S/He will maintain a safety culture focused on quality, integrity, innovation, and services
leadership
● Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to the divisional managers and employees;
able to lead in a matrixed structure; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust,
teamwork, accountability, self- confidence, and business ownership

Experience and Education
Qualified candidates will bring a minimum of 15 years business experience, including demonstrated
success in service operations spanning similar geographic footprint, as well as leadership of
multi-million-plus dollar revenue organizations which provide relevant services and/or supply chain
management solutions. Housing industry experience and/or knowledge would be preferred, albeit not
mandatory. in the housing industry. The ideal candidate will have experiences working in a decentralized
and/or branch-based business model while having a deep understanding on how companies can move
from a field-based focus to a technology/data driven organization. All candidates must also display the
stakeholder management skills, executive presence, and potential to be considered a COO succession
candidate, in the future.

S/He must bring strong operational rigor to the organization and profitably improve and scale a
distributed services business without compromising the division and the company’s reputation for
quality, customer service and safety. This position requires a senior leader who is operationally savvy
with a demonstrated ability to monitor key performance metrics/dashboards in partnership with all
groups for effective resource planning. It is imperative this person has a hands-on style to take
ownership of the division’s operational strategy and execution.

Experience in the broader housing industry is helpful as it gives the leader an advantage of
understanding the suppliers, customers, and players in this industry. That said, an exceptional senior
leader with an adjacent inventory intensive business with a significant distribution or broader supply
chain component will also be considered. More specifically industries that are most relevant and are
preferred include design, engineering, construction, building materials, and/or logistics/distribution
companies.

Candidates will bring experience leveraging technology to achieve competitive advantage and superior
financial performance. Demonstrated success leading business growth profitably through various stages
of the industry cycle is required. A reputation for delivering operational excellence, building, and
maintaining client relationships, and displaying unquestionable ethics and integrity is required.
Personal qualifications will include exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, a “player/coach”
management style, and the ability to inspire a distributed organization based upon earned respect and
credibility. A high level of personal drive, motivation, and sense of urgency is required.
An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
