Investment Real Estate, Moove In Self Storage Announce New Hires

Investment Real Estate LLC (IRE) and Moove In Self Storage (MISS), affiliates of The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), which specializes in self-storage brokerage, construction and management, have hired several new team members.

Lisa Morgan was hired as brokerage administrative assistant for IRE. She’ll assist with the customer-relationship-management database, manage tradeshow registration and maintain the status of the brokerage teams’ real estate licensing. She’ll also work with appraisers and other brokerage firms on producing comparable properties as well as managing self-storage listings and buyer registration through the IRE website.

Morgan has nine years of administrative- and executive-assistant experience. “Lisa comes to us with a myriad of life and professional experience as well as an eagerness to learn and contribute to a common goal as part of a team,” said Brian Davison, vice president of brokerage. “I anticipate that she will have a positive impact on the brokerage team and on the company in general. I am excited to watch her grow.”

Alison Smith was hired as the office administrative assistant for IRE. She’ll answer and direct phone calls, distribute mail, and assist the chief financial officer with daily tasks. She previously worked as a counseling-department secretary for the Dallastown Area School District in York County, Pennsylvania. She holds an associate degree in business administration from York College.

“We are excited to have Alison join our home office and support our team,” said Mary Beth Ching, chief of staff. “Her long career in supporting companies and organizations in a wide variety of industries made her a standout during the interview process. We are grateful to have her background and knowledge as we continue to grow.”

IRE also hired Tara Taylor as accounting/accounts-payable assistant. She’ll be responsible for processing invoices for MISS locations as well as managing petty-cash submissions, resolving vendor inquiries and processing payments.

Taylor previously worked at Good Faith Accounting for two years as well as a cake decorator. Tara holds an associate degree in business management from Harrisburg Area Community College.

“Tara‘s willingness and desire to grow her accounting skills will make her an excellent addition to the accounting department,” said Jessica Lacklin, controller. “Her dedication to ongoing learning will benefit her greatly in this new role.”

Molly Welby was hired as marketing coordinator for IRE. Her responsibilities include creating social media posts, managing email-marketing campaigns, maintaining the IRE website, writing press releases and updating marketing materials. She’s a December 2021 graduate of the University of Maryland, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

“We are thrilled to have Molly join [IREGC]. Her experience in the marketing arena, more specifically her writing expertise, will help IRE to successfully tell our brand’s story,” said Kate Scheib, director of digital marketing. “Molly brings a fresh perspective that will increase brand equity with future customers, while inspiring and fostering current relationships.”

Finally, MISS hired Heather Kazee as acquisitions manager. She’ll help manage the company’s purchase processes, focusing on onboarding tasks, setting up vendor accounts and entering detailed records of customer interactions.

Kazee previously worked as a project manager for a construction company. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and English from Lynchburg College.

“Heather’s experience in construction and project management will greatly benefit the operations team,” said Brian Foran, vice president of operations. “Her outgoing personality and ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances will serve her well in this role. We’re very excited to have Heather on the team.”
