We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, and thoughtful individual seeking design opportunities at our Brooklyn studio. Projects will range from high-end NYC apartment renovations to ground-up residential construction in Upstate New York. You will be working directly with Brandon Dean, the Principal at Dean Works.
The position available is currently a part-time position, but with opportunity for full-time employment in the future. It will be a mostly work-from-home setup, but periodic office meetings, material showroom browsing, and construction site visits may be a part of the job.
Opportunities:

Hands-on experience creating architectural drawing sets, 3D renderings, and presentations for clients.

Develop research tools for selecting and specifying architectural products, materials, and finishes.

Travel to Upstate New York for construction site visits.

Professional development hours required for Architectural licensure.
Qualifications:

Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Architecture, or on track to receive a degree.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino.

Familiar or proficient with V-Ray is a big plus.

Ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment.

Friendly collaborator and open mindedness.

Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
