Atkins Companies Teams Up with Renowned Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Oren Tepper and Dr. Evan Garfein, to Introduce Tribeca Plastic Surgery in Downtown Manhattan

Atkins Companies, a leading multigenerational commercial real estate development, investment, and property management firm, in a partnership with renowned plastic surgeons, Dr. Oren Tepper, Dr. Evan Garfein, and Dr. Arthur Perry, announce the development of Tribeca Plastic Surgery, a brand-new, luxury aesthetic plastic surgery destination to be located in Hudson Square at 497 Greenwich Street in New York City.

Currently under construction with a scheduled Spring 2023 opening, Tribeca Plastic Surgery will offer a curated luxury experience under the leadership of some of the industry’s most well-respected plastic surgeons. Located in the heart of Hudson Square, one of New York City’s most sought-after neighborhoods, the two-story, 4,750-square-foot plastic surgery center is the vision of nationally recognized plastic surgeons from Montefiore Health System. The modern space will merge luxury hospitality, state-of-the-art outpatient care and cutting-edge surgical operating rooms along with wellness, nutrition, and aesthetic services.

“The genesis of Tribeca Plastic Surgery was our desire to create a luxury plastic surgery experience, for both patients and doctors,” said co-founder, Dr. Tepper. “This ambitious goal has been made possible through close cooperation between our real estate partner Atkins Companies and our team of surgeons.”

Dr. Tepper has earned numerous national and international awards for his pioneering work in 3D surgical innovation, and currently serves as the Director of Aesthetic Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery programs at Montefiore, and as an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Co-founder, Dr. Garfein added, “With the launch of Tribeca Plastic Surgery, we are creating a space that reflects the vibrancy and sophistication of the neighborhood and will foster collaboration between high-end health and beauty professionals and leading lifestyle brands, in one of Manhattan’s most exciting destinations.”

Dr. Garfein, who is Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Montefiore and Professor of Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is an internationally recognized expert in the field of complex breast and body surgery, and notably played a key role in helping pass a New York State law in 2010 to make breast reconstruction more accessible to underserved women with breast cancer.

Also partnering on this project is Dr. Arthur Perry, host of WOR radio’s long running “What’s Your Wrinkle” program, who brings expertise in surgical and noninvasive facial rejuvenation, as well as experience as a government regulator on New Jersey’s State Board of Medical Examiners. “I’ve been performing cosmetic surgery for over three decades, and I am so pleased to now be working with this talented group of surgeons to create the foremost cosmetic surgery facility in the country,” added Dr Perry.

Cory Atkins, Principal at Atkins Companies continued, “We take great pride in our ability to work closely with the healthcare community to bring our clients’ unique visions to life. Through our partnership with Dr. Tepper, Dr. Garfein and Dr. Perry we are confident that Tribeca Plastic Surgery will serve as a powerful example of how real estate and healthcare leaders can partner together on a more impactful patient experience.”

Just half a block north of Tribeca, Tribeca Plastic Surgery will be in the heart of what is now one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Manhattan, Hudson Square. With Tribeca to its south, Soho to its east and the West Village to its north, Hudson Square is quickly becoming a destination for luxury brands and international companies. Only blocks away from Tribeca Plastic Surgery, Google and Disney are each spending billions of dollars on their new corporate campuses that will total 1.7 million square feet and 1.2 million square feet, respectively. These expansions and the high number of luxury brands already calling Hudson Square home have driven significant investment in the area as evidenced by the numerous luxury residential projects, hotels, and retail establishments under construction and in the pipeline.

Aiming to further build upon the area’s momentum, the physician founders have also recently launched the Business Owners of Soho & Tribeca (B.O.O.S.T). The new concept has been created to bring together luxury, high-end businesses, and concierge services in the surrounding neighborhoods.
